London Metropolitan University has the third highest student population in the UK having been merged from two former University colleges approximately four years ago.

Post-merger, TouchVision were identified as being a key supplier to help standardise the AV installations in teaching rooms and lectures theatres across the two diverse campuses. Until recently LMU had used numerous AV installation companies. The newly formed centralised Media services dept had a very good idea what they wanted to achieve and TouchVision have helped identify these requirements and bringing in new ideas to provide a solution centred around Extron’s MediaLink control systems.

Since entering into a framework agreement with LMU in May 2006, TouchVision have installed 120 rooms across the two campuses as well as some of the lecture theatres, taking into account DDA compliancy.

As part of this framework agreement TouchVision have set up an exclusive web site for the countless members of staff wishing to purchase AV equipment to assist them in their respective rolls within this vast University.
