TouchVision have been working with London South Bank University since 2003 installing teaching rooms and lecture theatres. Before this time LSBU had suffered tremendously from theft across their Southwark Campus.
Working closely with the media services team TouchVision managed to implement such security features that such thefts were all but eradicated.
In late 2005 LSBU’s procurement department undertook a massive task to identify trusted AV solutions providers by means of an OJEC tender which attracted the attentions of nearly 50 AV installation companies. Some six months later, TouchVision were rewarded a Framework agreement having come top in every area of the criterion.
To date, TouchVision have installed over 143 rooms and implemented an estate wide IP based system that allows LSBU’s technicians to manage their estate of projectors ensuring that projectors are automatically turned off at the end of a teaching day.in addition this allows interrogation of the projector menu giving valuable feed back such as lamp hours used and operating temperatures.
